Glovender is looking for a highly motivated sourcing specialist to assist the company in the supplier sourcing process and to create strong relationships with the supplier.

Glovender is a fast-growing Nashville based supply chain acceleration startup. We help leading brands and emerging creators avoid supply chain delays, accelerate product launches, and maximize profits using our G360 Command Center™ platform and global supply chain agents.

Your responsibilities include the following:

• Conducting research to identify best fit suppliers for Glovender
• Processing sourcing inquiry requests in a timely and effective manner
• Obtain quotes from different suppliers
• Negotiate price, contract terms, quantity, and delivery schedules with suppliers
• Working with legal counsel to ensure that all contracts relating to product procurement contain all details of the negotiation
• Assess quotes and compile a detailed assessment and comparison of cost breakdowns
• Conduct supplier inspections and vetting to ensure that competitive and compliant suppliers are onboarded
• Onboard new suppliers, manufacturers and vendors once approved by the supply chain manager
• Maintain a supplier database and update it regularly
• Plan and implement strategic sourcing solutions
• Maintain healthy business relationships with suppliers
• Introduce measures to reduce sourcing costs
• Report required metrics to the supply chain manager in a timely and effective manner
• Coordinate delivery schedules with vendors and logistic partners
• Regularly network with industry professionals to create new contacts and get latest industry insights
• Developing contacts with suppliers, manufacturers, and industry experts

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in administration, logistics, supply chain or related field
• Proven experience in sourcing processes
• Strong negotiation skills
• Sound time-management and organizational skills
• Familiarity with sourcing procedures and legalities
• Strong leadership skills
• Detail-oriented and a critical thinker
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools
• Knowledge of supply chain management
• Ability to multitask
• Fluency in Vietnamese and English
• Impressive oral and written communication skills
• Sound decision making ability
• Ability to work independently
